Each pillow is handmade and one-of-a-kind, created as a soft sculptural object rather than a standard cushion. The fabric is bundle-dyed by textile artist Vedrana Pećek, using natural dyes placed directly on the material, rolled and steamed. This method produces unpredictable patterns that cannot be repeated, making every pillow visually unique.
There are two colour variations, both dyed with plants and natural extracts. The lighter version is coloured with marigold from my garden, locally foraged goldenrod, pea flower and hibiscus, then deepened using green vitriol. The darker version is dyed with logwood extract, sandalwood, madder root and pH modifiers for deeper tones.
Each pillow is a single edition — only one exists.
